Does your employer require you to have a certificate of competence to enable you to drive off-road at work? 

BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) is the UK's only professional association dedicated to Off-Road Driving and Land Rover Experience West Country is one of the few authorised venues to offer the accreditation.

We run:

  • The BORDA Standard Level Course 1 day - £690.00
    Suitable for recreational and occasional commercial driving, max 3 people.
  • The BORDA Advanced Higher Level Course 2 days - £1260.00 
  • Suitable for regular commercial users , max 3 people.

Lantra Awards

LANTRA Certificated Training – from £650.00

Land Rover Experience West Country is a registered LANTRA Awards training provider, the UK government approved training body.

Our LANTRA Professional 4x4 User course provides delegates with a clear understanding of the principles of four wheel drive systems and how to exploit these to make safe, efficient and reliable progress both on-road and off-road.

As well as providing delegates with extensive coaching in off-road driving techniques, the syllabus includes ground reading and obstacle recognition skills (helping reduce the costly and time-consuming risk that a vehicle may become stranded or damaged).

Daily checks and maintenance requirements are also covered to help operators maximise fleet reliability and minimise total costs.

Usually conducted using Land Rover vehicles, this course can also be delivered in other vehicles by special arrangement.
